Please don't knock on Brian Greene, I have read his book back to front, and it has personally turned me onto hypothetical physics, and I'm none for the worse. That's great, I'm not saying science education is a bad thing, and it's always nice to have people interested in particle physics. I did, after all, recommend his book for the above question. The search for supersymmetry, or other physics beyond the Standard Model (SM) is becoming ever more tantalizing. The idea that the SM is theoretically incomplete is an old one. There is now a whole range of innovative and experimentally striking suggestions for this new physics that underlies the SM. Special emphasis is on results in the following areas: quantization methods, nonlinear evolution equations, foundation of quantum physics, algebraic quantum field theory, gauge and string theories, quantum information, quantum groups, discrete symmetries.

- Very Degenerate Higgsino Dark Matter can lead to unusual annihilation signals, induced by Sommerfeld-Ramsauer-Tounsend effects. The fields surveyed are High Energy Physics, String Theory, Relativity, Astrophysics, Cosmology, Plasma Physics and Formal Aspects of Mathematical Physics.

Some of the exciting topics discussed in this volume are fundamental questions about black holes and string theory, supermassive black holes, string theory and the quantum structure of space.

The present paper had its roots around six years ago in our work on the geometrical-topological interpretation of Hardy’s famous quantum entanglement and transfinite golden mean Turing computers [1] as well as its connection to a fractal version of Rindler spacetime combined with KAM theorem of nonlinear dynamics [2].This work led to an exact determination of the.

Based on Witten’s T-duality and mirror symmetry we show, following earlier work, the fundamental complimentarity of the Casimir energy and dark energy. Such a conclusion opens new vistas in cold fusion technology in the wider sense of the word which we tackle via fractal nano technologies leading to some design proposals for a nano Casimir-dark energy by: Vaidya: free download.

The book initially focuses on the matrix formulation of non-commutative and fuzzy spaces, followed by a description of the non-perturbative treatment of the corresponding field theories.

As an example, the phase structure of non-commutative phi-four theory is treated in great detail, with a separate chapter on the multitrace approach.

The first figure is actually an artist impression of quantum or fractal-Cantorian spacetime (Figure 1).The second is an exact mathematical- topological picture in the sense of the scientific. The model of fuzzy dark matter, which the article by Collar refers to, with massive but ultralight axion particles of de Broglie wavelength the scale of galaxies is interesting, in that it interpolates between the extremely sucessful WIMP-style phenomenology on cosmological scale and the observed MOND-like deviation from WIMP-style dark matter on galactic scales, because on.

A black hole is essentially a relativistic as well as a quantum object. Therefore the information paradox of black holes is a consequence of the clash between these two most fundamental theories of modern physics.

It is logical to conclude that a resolution of the problem requires some form of a quantum gravity theory.
